The Chanticleer Pear tree, is a tight, narrow, pyramidal, thornless, ornamental pear tree. This deciduous tree is a true four season tree with white flowers in early spring, shiny, dark green glossy foliage in summer that changes to long lasting, dramatic shades of red and purple in mid to late autumn.
Chanticleer Pear trees are very hardy and fast growing, and are an excellent choice for a trouble-free, beautiful addition in any landscape situation. These are extremely popular in the Colorado front range due to their adaptability, low maintenance, and aesthetically pleasing look.
